Double the Mileage = Half the Stops

This summer, the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Transportation are expected to finalize proposed new fuel efficiency and pollution standards for new vehicles, raising them to the equivalent of 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025.

Once adopted, these new standards will mean American families can go further on less gas, reduce oil imports, cut pollution, and create jobs.
